Welcome to the Hitching Post Tack & Supply, Inc.

  

 
     The Hitching Post Tack & Supply, Inc. is a Massachusetts corporation formed in 2006 in Rochester, MA. It stated in the back room of our small family store in an area where there are as many horses as there are people.  We started by supplying apparel and tack supplies from JPC/Tuffrider, Intec Performance Gear, and IRH Helmets.  Over the years, we have added Charles Owen Helmets, Roeckl Gloves, Ovation Helmets and boots, Perri's Leather, Kerrits Equestrian Wear and Heritage Gloves.  Added to this, we started bringing in the items that you as a horse lover needed everyday; such as supplements, shampoos, leather care, and fly sprays.

     Eventually, we rolled out our first website in 2009 and made great strides.  In fact, the internet sales have outpaced the retail store sales and we moved the internet and shipping warehouse to our present location.  Due to this move, we have dramatically reduced our overhead and are now able to offer online equine supplies at a very affordable prices.

     This new website is designed to be more friendly, be able to include coupons, and better track our orders for you.  Coming online on May 1st of 2012 with this new website, we look to increase the ease and availability to all of our customers.  Even the horse lovers in our immediate area will find new savings here.

     On May 1st, the management of the website will have changed.  We hope to be more easily reached, but since we are on the road with the shop more, we may not be as easily reached by phone.  E-mail would be the recommended and preferred way to communicate with us as we will be manning the computers and smart phones all day.
